DRAIN CLEANING ENZYMES · THREE APPLICATIONS

Enzymes for drains,
grease and pumps.

A drain line, grease trap and pump chamber need different trials. Tell us the residue, access point and operating conditions.

01 / DRAINS & PIPEWORK

Organic build-up.
A targeted approach.

Screen enzyme treatments against accessible food and organic residues in commercial drain-maintenance programmes.

Food processing · commercial kitchens · facilities

Discuss your drain line →
02 / FATS, OILS & GREASE

Understand the fat.
Then test the treatment.

Lipase is a starting point for fat and oil treatment trials. Check the downstream effect as well as changes at the dosing point.

Grease interceptors · food residues · trade effluent

Discuss grease residues →
03 / PUMPS & WET WELLS

A process trial.
Built around the pump.

Review organic deposits, contact time and dosing access before selecting a treatment. Agree meaningful measurements with your operator.

Wastewater pumps · wet wells · organic deposits

Discuss pump applications →

INGREDIENTS FIRST. FORMULATION FOLLOWS.

Match the activity
to the material.

Buy an established enzyme ingredient or send your process details for a blend discussion. Finished drain-cleaner formulations are quoted after review.

PROTEIN-LED RESIDUES

Protease selection

Discuss protein-containing food and process residues, product compatibility and the pH of your cleaning programme.

Request formulation advice →

STARCH-LED RESIDUES

Amylase selection

Review starch-rich deposits and food residues where an amylase activity could be included in a screening trial.

Discuss your residue →

TAILORED COMMERCIAL ENQUIRIES

Ingredient pack options and current prices are confirmed at S&T checkout. A raw enzyme ingredient is not a ready-to-use drain cleaner. Technical documentation and application suitability are reviewed before a commercial trial.

A CLEAR PATH TO A USEFUL ANSWER

Identify. Treat.
Compare.

Define success before dosing. Appearance alone does not establish a useful process result.

Identify the residueFat, protein, starch or a mixed organic deposit
Check the conditionspH, temperature, contact time and cleaning chemistry
Run a controlled trialMatched untreated material and a repeatable method
Review the outcomeDeposit change, maintenance needs and effluent impact

FROM ENQUIRY TO EVIDENCE

Keep the trial small.
Keep the goal clear.

Free samples are available for qualified operators and formulators after an application review. Agree the treatment, measurements and delivery arrangements with us.

Plan a commercial trial ↗
  1. Send the operating picture.

Residue type, location, flow, temperature, pH and current maintenance method.

  2. Choose a practical comparison.

Record the dose and contact time. Include an untreated control and consistent sampling.

  3. Review before scaling.

Check the whole system, including downstream deposits, effluent and operator observations.

BEFORE YOU START

Useful questions.
Practical answers.

Will enzymes clear a blocked drain?

This range is for reviewing organic-residue treatment and maintenance applications. A physical blockage needs an appropriate inspection and clearance method. Enzymes do not remove wipes, plastics, stones or damaged pipework.

Is this a disinfectant or limescale remover?

No disinfectant or mineral-scale removal claim is made for these enzyme ingredients. Choose the treatment for the material and the required cleaning outcome.

Can enzymes be used with my existing cleaner?

Share the cleaner formulation or safety data sheet before combining products. pH, oxidising agents, temperature and other ingredients can affect activity and compatibility.

What dose should I use?

The dose depends on the selected product, activity, residue and operating conditions. We agree a trial approach after reviewing your application; there is no universal dosing rate.

Can you help with private-label products?

Send your intended market, application, volumes and pack format. We can discuss a formulation and labelling brief. Product specifications, claims and availability are agreed before supply.

How do I buy samples or request bulk supply?

Lipase ingredient packs can be ordered through our S&T store. For qualified commercial samples, tailored formulations or bulk quotes, use the enquiry below.
